A great Day

The Sheerwater Festival which I had helped organise, was largely a success. Many stallholders came away reaping the benefits and everyone seemed to enjoy the day of family fun!
Additionally, my very own exhibition faired well, and I have come away feeling pleased on several accounts. A lot of the work I had on display had never been seen by anyone other than myself previously, so it was good to have it on show. Other pieces included older works, even from college days, as well as the more recent works previously mentioned.
I managed to have some great conversations with people about my work, even sell a couple of paintings, but I think the most important thing is that I have had the experience of setting it all up myself (especially during an even bigger event that I too was part of).
Now, heading into another year of university studying Fine Art, I feel ready to enjoy creating more pieces, studying and seeing where my practice takes me, hopefully to conduct more solo and group exhibitions in the near future!
