I received a mention on the BBC website!

I had never realised that after my first step in getting involved in my local community, my successful effort to rename the Community Centre in Sheerwater was

written about on both the Woking Borough Council website and the BBC. It's a moment I will never forget and one which gave me the opportunity to take up the honorary tradition of switching on the Sheerwater Christmas tree lights in 2009.
